    Choke Redband Trailer

    You know, that little Clark Gregg movie based on Chuck Palahniuk’s novel. You know the one I’m talking about. The one starring Sam Rockwell, Anjelica Huston and Kelly Macdonald.

    Who am I kidding. Of course you know. I’m sure you also know it opens September 26th.

    “If this movie doesn’t touch you, go ahead and touch yourself.” Great. I hope this doesn’t mean I’ll have to keep away from screening rooms full of people touching themselves. Gross.

    At least it cracked me up!

    Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla Trailer

    RocknRolla Movie StillI‘m not a big fan of Guy Ritchie. I know the director by name but I’ve only seen one of his films from beginning to end and to boot, it wasn’t even a good one but rather last year’s Revolver (our review). At some point I tried to watch both Snatch. and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which happens to be one of my sister’s favourites, but I couldn’t get into either of them.

    Then came word that he’d be heading back to gangsters and bad guys (he got away from that?) with the upcoming RocknRolla and I must admit, I wasn’t all that excited mostly because I haven’t bought into the greatness of Richie but the cast, which includes Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton and Jeremy Piven, certainly caught my attention.

    The first trailer for the film has hit the web and I have to say, I’m not particularly impressed by the movie itself though I do love the animated bits. But who am I kidding? I’ll be there to watch Butler.

    RocknRolla opens on October 31st.

    Trailer is tucked under the seat!

    2nd Righteous Kill Trailer

    I was not too impressed the first trailer for the upcoming Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro cop thriller Righteous Kill. I am more optimistic after this one even though it really does have the same feel of The Departed trailers. I still can not help it though, I am really interested in seeing Pacino and DeNiro on the screen together.

    Am I crazy in wanting to see this?

    Righteous Kill Gets a Trailer

    righteouskillsmall.JPGEveryone in the world has to be at least curious about Righteous Kill, the first movie that will have Robert De Niro and Al Pacino actually sharing a significant amount of screen time together. The movie has a lot going against it (the casting of 50 Cent, director Jon Avnet, some crappy producers), but still… it’s a detective movie starring De Niro and Pacino. That’s all that needs to be said to get my butt in the theatre seat.

    So, here’s the first trailer and, well, it’s not very impressive. It’s not bad… it just doesn’t really leave me feeling much. Check it out for yourself in marvelous QUICKTIME format, or use the YouTube version after the cut.
