Stupidly delayed listening to this show. Didn’t realize there was board game, TV, video game and comic talk.

I echo the guy who “called” in about Fargo (s2). It’s easily the best thing I watched in 2015, period. The foresight they had in calling attention to some of things in season one and then making it a prequel? Brilliant.

As for board games, I don’t play very many games in a year; but when our buddy James from “Where the Long Tail Ends” introduced us to Broom Service, we couldn’t get enough. That is one of the simplest, yet smartest games I’ve ever played. And I love that you can flip over the board and there’s an entirely different map with some new twists on the game play (which we never even got to). Love it! Apparently it’s fairly rare at this stage of the game and pretty expensive if you do find a copy(?).

I never ever read comics, but I’m interested in checking out “Lando” after those guys recommendation!

Video Games: loved Rocket League in 2015. One of the best games I’ve played in a long time and it was FREE(!) on PSN. Bloodborne pissed me off to no end. I understand what it’s going for, but I simply don’t have the time or patience to fight the same area over and over and over again for that finally(!) sense of satisfaction of getting through it. I posted about it on Reddit and was endlessly chastised: https://www.reddit.com/r/bloodborne/comments/42qpk6/one_of_the_worst_games_ive_ever_played/

I am loving the world of Fallout IV quite a bit – although it’s getting repetitive. Witcher III was good as was Mad Max (gorgeous!). However, I am now really interested in playing Dying Light since you guys mentioned it and the Game Informer guys also gave it a pretty high honorable mention – might’ve made more top ten lists but it was released so early in the year nobody really remembered it.

K bye.
