Welcome to the Toronto International Film Festival 2013! We begin our coverage by interviewing two teams entered in TIFF’s annual Pitch This! competition – Nimisha Mukerji and Kaitlin Reygehr for Tempest Storm, and Daniel Cockburn for The Engineers – about how TIFF helps propel new filmmakers into their projects. Then we recap days 1-4 of the fest, with discussion of Fat, You Are Here, The Green Inferno, All Cheerleaders Die, Only Lovers Left Alive, The Story of Children and Film, The Station, Heart of a Lion, Horns, Atilla Marcel, Love is the Perfect Crime, Young & Beautiful, Blue is the Warmest Colour, Antboy, Zip and Zap and the Marble Gang, and Enough Said.
