Back in September of 2011, Kurt first posted a trailer for John Dies at the End. Over a year later and after plenty of festival appearances, a new trailer has been released – this time with a couple of release dates.
As Kurt mentioned, many of us in the third row are fans of writer-director Don Coscarelli, the man behind Bubba Ho-Tep, a movie that I just fucking adore and have watched and enjoyed well over a dozen times. Coscarelli’s latest has a cast which includes Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown and Doug Jones and I won’t bother to describe the plot, since it’s better left being seen in the trailer. Needless to say, if you appreciated the genre-zaniness of Bubba Ho-Tep, you’re sure to appreciate this trailer.
The film will first be released on iTunes on December 27th before hitting select theaters on January 25, 2013.
