The first entry in the series to go ‘orange-and-teal’ in its visual palette feels a little off from the Die Hard universe, but this trailer is cut with a fair bit of editing flourish, and anyone directing a Die Hard sequel should be able to leap over the low-bar set by Len-Fucking-Wiseman.
And while I do like stuff blowing up real good, and Willis pleasantly smirking for the camera, with that title, they might have riffed on this wonderful goofery from Starship Troopers: Marauder

Gotta say, despite my reservations, looks pretty fun. Love the musical snippets of Beethoven calling back to part 1.
Yea, I liked the use of the symphony, because that is a really good scene in the original film, particularly the way Alan Rickman ends the sequence by saying “MERRY CHRISTMAS” in that breathless way of his.
Meh.

How much money on the son “hilariously” delivering the “yipppee kiy yay” line this time around?
