BREAKING NEWS: All Criterions are 50% off for 24 hours on Criterion.com
The second I got the e-mail, I rushed to the site and bought a disc to avoid the server crashes that happened last time.
I bought THE GAME, despite having never seen the film.
If I had more money to burn (and there was no surcharge to ship to Canada), I would have definitely added a few more films from my wishlist to the order.
Yeah I was bummed I couldn’t grab Brazil because Pre-Orders are not included in sale.
I did get
La Haine & Branded to Kill
I have to say, The Game is not Criterion worthy, in my humble opinion. Even though I did like it a lot.
I’d say Zodiac is probably his most “Criterion worthy” film. But The Game is still probably my favorite of all his films.
I’d have to go with the chalk pick and say Seven is the most worthy.
I have to re-watch Zodiac because my expectations were way too high the first couple of times I saw it.
