Surprise, we’re under an hour and a half for this episode! Despite a TON of stuff in the multi-plexes, early TIFF screenings that force a gag order on Kurt and trips to the fair have taken away most of our ability to talk about much going on in movieland. Still, we managed to agree most triumphantly on William Friedkin’s latest, Killer Joe; starring Matthew McConaughey, Gina Gershon, Juno Temple, Thomas Hayden-Church and Emille Hirsch. After that it’s on to some old-school, Mike Nichols/Harrison Ford collaborations before calling it a night. Don’t worry, we do manage to stick in some casual chit chat about this and that throughout the show, but no one was more surprised than us to see the clock at under 90 minutes when we said goodnight. Sorry, it (probably) won’t happen again.

The last few episodes have been pretty Meh. I rather you guys take off some weeks in order to come back when you have some good material.
Get well soon Gamble, the cast needs you.
Actually I think what they need to spice up the conversation is right around the corner.
It is school time after all.
As soon as TIFF is over, fall semester will start!
It took me about two seconds to decode both of Kurt’s cryptic reviews. Just saying.
That was the intent!
Oh, man. I was just catching up with your show as I prepped myself some leftover spaghetti and Kurt began talking about Juno Temple in Kaboom. It got me thinking; what if it were a bowl of spaghetti down there? I mean I can’t complain at all with the exceptional servings I’ve had, but my gosh. That just really paints an image. Thank you Kurt.
Thank GREG ARAKI, Gil!
