Yeah, but what are the metrosexual implications?

I don’t know if they are metrosexual implications, but many are implying that the Queen is a now Bond girl, which if you take to the next step means she has shagged James Bond.

I’m pretty sure Bond shags her in that equation

Do people want Christopher Nolan to take over the James Bond franchise? I do not know… maybe. I just do not want Nolan to be tied to another major franchise. But then again, a Nolan Bond does sound like an awesome idea.

The Batman films were both a blessing and a curse for Nolan. I actually want his next film to be a bit smaller.

Yes, this! I’m sick of talented directors getting bogged down in lame summer franchises. I’d much rather see an Inception than another Bond film (which will get made anyway) from guys like this.

Sam Mendes is an exception for me since this is a total departure from his usual fare and I’m curious to see what he can do. If these big blockbusters are directed by someone really interesting, then I’m on board. Directors like Nolan or Fincher or Boyle do not need to douse their creative juices with franchise properties. Their unique pictures are always going to be far more interesting than just another super hero movie with ‘splosions and aerial fist fights.

Then again, Gondry (an interesting director) tried to do this and it looked like terrible terrible horse poop (judging from the trailer and word of mouth – I never saw Green Hornet).

I really want to see Joss Whedon take on Avengers 2 to see what he would do with Thanos. After that, I hope Whedon has enough Avengers money to keep bankrolling his own projects. Either independent movies or more web series.

Why does he need to? I mean isn’t that what Inception is in part.

I also prefer that his movies have gotten larger, to me his films have become more interesting the bigger they get. Which is something I can say about very few directors.

I like the Podcasting app, but I agree that it needs to be able to sync better (especially since iTunes checks the Music App to see which podcasts are have been played or not).

I briefly tried forgetting about iTunes and just downloading Podcasts through the app. I stopped when I realized that podcasts download pretty darn slow in the app (and I don’t really want to use up dataplan bandwidth to stream).

Which app are you talking about?

Not sure if you heard me mention it on the Cinecast, but we’ve got some outside help in creating a new movie podcast app that will feature several popular movie podcasts all in one place. This will be outside of the RowThree mobile app.

Also, if you’re an Android user, I highly recommend the PODKICKER app for subscribing and downloading podcasts. It’s simple and clean and works FAR better than any other free podcasting app in the Google store.

Not sure if it exists for iPhone or not, but either way, if you’re using an iPhone, you’re limited to 3G speeds which will of course take forever to download stuff.
