I think I get the imagery in this poster. Philip Seymour Hoffman playing essentially L. Ron Hubbard, who founded Sea Org, Joaquin Phoenix playing his first disciple who will shortly be ‘drowning’ in Scientology. But really, this poster makes me think of a bottle of very fine scotch being held at the exact right temperature and awaiting an audience to come along and sip it slowly. You know, just like a P.T. Anderson film.
This is one of the best (maybe THE best) movie posters I have ever seen.
