Michelle Williams in “Vogue” Magazine for her upcoming film, My Week with Marilyn (more):
If the below video doesn’t impress you, maybe this one will:
Best Coast – “Our Deal” video – directed by Drew Barrymore – starring Chloe Moretz:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Mickey Mouse in Escape from New York:
Jim Emerson deconstructs the riverside chase in The Dark Knight (post):

Marry me, Michelle.
Michelle Williams looks like Michelle Williams
Castor, yeah, I’m not at all sure how well this Marilyn movie is going to work. I mean, I love Michelle Williams and think she’s one of the best actresses currently working, but she’s totally different from Marilyn.
Just watched Shots In The Dark (Knight) again. Still agree with Emerson and kind of wish I could see a complete cut of that chase scene with his edits.
I have a seriously bad feeling about Michelle WIlliams doing Marilyn Monroe, it seems a terrible fit, and suspect it might be Williams’ first ‘casting-misfire’ in the past 5 years or so.
I simply don’t care about the Marilyn movie. I love Michelle Williams too, but not playing Marilyn – nothing against her, but haven’t we already seen countless varieties of her life story?
I dunno. I think Michelle Williams is going to rock this role. While I agree with Bob I couldn’t really care less about the Monroe story at this point (it’s been done!), I think Williams injecting herself into the role is going to be really interesting. If she tries to do a straight-up impersonation, I’m not interested. If she does Michelle Williams as a 60′s sex symbol and that whole theme, I’m super interested.
The only way the story will be interesting is if it’s done much like “I’m Not There” was done. Exploit the myth, not the reality.
I am interested in Michelle Williams doing ANYTHING, but as someone said on my twitter feed, the only actress working today that has the body of Marilyn Monroe is Christina Hendricks (redhead from Mad Men). She was a big voluptuous woman, Michelle Williams is petite. Also she has the face too:

Well again, I’m less interested in getting the look just right. I’m more interested in “the machine.”
Also, I just read this over at the times:
http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/fashion/article6044724.ece
“After all these years, mystery and conspiracy theories still surround her death, but when it comes to her physical attributes, I can put a few facts straight. Contrary to received wisdom, she was not a voluptuous size 16 – quite the opposite. While she was undeniably voluptuous – in possession of an ample bosom and a bottom that would look at home gyrating in a J-Lo video – for most of the early part of her career, she was a size 8 and even in her plumper stages, was no more than a 10. I can tell you this from experience because a few weeks ago, I tried to try on her clothes.”
When you look at the pictures in that Vogue shoot, Michelle Williams has curves.
I actually remember Tobey Maguire talking about that fact in Wonder Boys. It’s got to be true if it was in a Michael Douglas movie.
huh, never heard that before. I mean sure when she is young is a fairly skinny, but by our modern standards I always thought she was on the heavier side. Might have been the curves, which again, I don’t think Michelle Williams has but maybe I am wrong.
