With it a) being the opening film of Midnight Madness for TIFF11, and b) the poster is designed by Omar “Swarez” Hauksson (Familiar to both listeners of the Movie Club Podcast as well as Twitch, but also graphic designer, actor, musician and all around man of awesomeness.)
The Raid is a balls-to-the-wall Indonesian action movie about a SWAT team stuck in a high-rise tenement building full of thugs and low-lifes. Carnage, blood and broken bones ensue, I’ve seen some footage from this film and it is very, very, very intense and graphic stuff.

The stuff I’ve seen from this film looks outstanding. Just hope I do the film justice with this poster.

I’ll be seeing this in a couple weeks. Is it also playing in Austin (I swear I’ll make it down to Austin for FF one day, but it’s way damn too close to TIFF….for travel, and sanity!)
Yea I thought it would play FF since it’s at TIFF. Which hopefully means I will be able to snag a copy of the poster.
