The goal of the screen shot quiz it not to just guess what the movie is that the screen shot is from but to encourage discussion on the film. You are both correct. It is Apocalypto and I really found it boring. The chase just didn’t do it for me.
I agree, the only interesting thing in that movie is the fact that it is set in a time and place we are not used to see depicted in films. Apart from that the story itself has nothing special at all in my opinion.
Dunno, I think Apocalypto is pretty awesome, it’s unabashedly B-material, and for me, unabashedly entertaining. Only saw it once on the big screen. I should really watch it again.
Haven’t watched since the theater, but I own on Blu-ray. Need to rewatch soon. I remember the cinematography was gorgeous (as are most of Gibson’s films).
I liked Apocolypto. Reminded me a little of Last of the Mohicans, but of course I like Mohicans better.
‘ Apocalypto’ …loved it! I kind of melted, reformed and melted again. Art is so transforming!
