good stuff. I saw Raiders: Adaptation a few years ago during a nation tour. It was great and the filmmakers were so fun to have a Q&A with afterwards. I agree completely that people should check this out.
As for your “something missing” in Super 8, I’ve not seen the film yet (tomorrow), but perhaps what is missing is the 20 years that have gone by? You are no longer 11 years old.

Thanks, but I’m good. I saw it at Sprockets and it was a truly memorable experience, don’t think a copy on my computer’s going to do it justice. The producer, who accompanied the film, did like an hour of Q&A afterwards for the kids in the audience (and us). Really awesome.
