The goal of the screen shot quiz it not to just guess what the movie is that the screen shot is from but to encourage discussion on the film. Herzog’s last great film, Rescue Dawn.
I love Rescue Dawn. But Cave/Dreams and Bad Lieutenant are pretty great. Not a fan of Oh Father What Have You Done or whatever it’s called.
Erm… Encounters at the End of the World? Cave of Forgotten Dreams? I think a case can even be made for Bad Lieutenant, though that’s a much more complicated issue…
Post-Rescue Dawn has been good not great methinks.
Rot was correct it is Rescue Dawn. Other than Bad Lieutenant I’ve been pretty bad a catching Herzog movies. I keep wanting to but just never get around to seeing them.
Encounters at the End of the World was phenomenal. Bad Lieutenant, I agree, though – just good… although it does stick with you. I am yet to watch Caves and My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done, but am greatly looking forward to them both.
