The goal of the screen shot quiz it not to just guess what the movie is that the screen shot is from but to encourage discussion on the film. Feel free to shout out in the comments what the movie is and then provide an opinion or some thoughts on the movie. Oh and the first person who gets the movie right wins our respect.

Is that M. Night’s Disasterpiece?
The Happening. Why refuse to name the title Kurt?
No reason. I rather liked this one, not the least of which from Mark Wahlberg’s wonderful performance. The film is not without warts (see also: The Mist) but it is a good time at the movies.
The Happening is also a good time on a 32-inch LCD screen in a cramped room.
I remember having a huge smile on my face the entire movie. It somehow has a great bad b movie feel in a big blockbuster style movie. Everything is just off by about 10% and that makes me really dig it.
Exactly what John said. A perfect way to sum up The Happening!
Mmmmm…have no idea what film this scene is from, but this is how I feel at the end of a hard day at work, minus the check shirt, hard hat and orange/yellow striped aware gear!
I can’t honestly say, I’ve even recall a film with a scene like this. Mmmmm…..most curious to find out what the name of this film is!
I’d like to suggest a ‘caption title’ competition. Take a film shot, and get contributors to come up with the best the caption for such film shot.
Like this one could be ‘the last man standing buys rounds tonight!’ Or…’where’s Edmond?…dunno…haven’t seen him..’
Just an idea…feel free to shoot it down.
JUst realized the film name is ‘The Happening’ based on the banter prior to my post. I hadn’t actually considered that anyone would guess this so quickly, so didn’t realize the discussion was already talking about the actual film belonging to the picture. Mmmm…am I brain dead? Thinking I am.
The Happening was summarily dismissed by the mainstream, but there is a glorious B-film vibe (one can debate whether it was intentional or not) that makes it interesting for a niche audience of film-lovers.
