The goal of the screen shot quiz it not to just guess what the movie is that the screen shot is from but to encourage discussion on the film. Feel free to shout out in the comments what the movie is and then provide an opinion or some thoughts on the movie. Oh and the first person who gets the movie right wins our respect.

Is that Jeff Daniels? Whenever I see Jeff Daniels, I immediately think, ’101 Dalmations’… I’m guessing that’s not the correct answer…
The Lookout?
Well, it looks like he can see and he was blind in The Lookout, wasn’t he? You got me John, you got me.
It is THE LOOKOUT. Just like everyone else I’m a big JGL fanboy. I really dig him in neo-noir style stories and wish he would do more of them.
I really liked The Lookout, but it flew too much under the radar. I think it was my “sleeper film” that I recommended to everybody that year.
Loved ‘The Lookout’! I’m very into films that offer a second chance to people who’ve screwed up (that’s what I got out of this film). Not an all is forgiven type of approach, but a ‘you may move on to Go now position’ and please do roll again.
Is the scene you show the one in the bank? He’s got his friend on the floor? That’s what makes it so powerful. Everything is out of control at this point.
I’ve probably got it wrong.
Dear John ‘Allison’. It appears you have a picture from ‘May’ the film as your avatar. If this be the case, might I ask that in the near future you provide a review of this film. It is without a doubt one of the most amazing films ever produced and I’d love to read other comments etc on the film. Sadly, it didn’t return box office profits in any level of expectation (no art films ever seem to), but it remains at least in my mind…a brilliant film!
Apparently, Lucky McKee’s new film (he directed May) is pushing all sorts of hot-buttons on the festival circuit. It’s called THE WOMAN.
Ms Curious, John did a mini-review of May a couple of years ago. Kurt did a Finite Focus on a scene from it as well.
So yeah…We kind of like May around these here parts…
Oh yes. I’ll join in on the May love. I’ve not seen any of Lucky McKee’s other films though. Which ones are worth tracking down?
