Before there was Mean Girls. Before Gossip Girl. There was Jawbreaker. The ’90s-nostagia movie and its deliciously wicked skewering of high-school hijinks (with a nod to the ’80s classic Heathers) is a modern-day classic that fans can now re-live — or, ahem, re-die — all over again.
They’re the beautiful ones. The flawless four. Everyone wanted to be them. You know ‘em. They went to your school, too. First there’s Courtney “Satan in Heels” Shayne (Rose McGowan) and her pawn, the dense but dangerous Marcie Fox (Julie Benz), a legend in her own little mind. Then there’s angelic Julie Freedman (Rebecca Gayheart), doomed to be popular because of her pretty face, and lastly, the teen-dream herself, Elizabeth Purr. When an ordinary kidnapping prank leaves the future prom queen dead (accidentally gagged with a jaw-breaker), a deadly sweet prank leads to cover-up makeover in this edgy and unpredictable comedy. But there will be no mercy as prom night arrives, bringing this spirited tale to its cruel tiara-dropping conclusion.

I’d wager this will be a somewhat popular answer, but I dig McGowan in PLANET TERROR.
My favorite Rose McGowan film is most definitely Doom Generation.
I’m going to go with Rose’s short but memorable appearance in “Scream.”
As much as I enjoyed Planet Terror, it just does not match my love for Scream. Scream all the way!
Julie Benz — RAMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite *absolutely* remains Greg Araki’s THE DOOM GENERATION. (She’s flat out great in DEATH PROOF, but not in the film enough!)
My favorite (Rebecca Gayheart), Shadow Hours
I never really had heard of Julie Benz before. But I looked her up after seeing Rambo – didn’t care too much for that movie, but she was smokin’ good looking in that one.
Julie Benz is way better known for TV work. Dexter, Angel, No Ordinary Family.
No love for Judy Greer? She’s been the best part of a good many things, including Elizabethtown and 13 Going on 30. And she’s hilarious on Archer.
Judy Greer always strikes me as one of those character actors that is shit on a lot in films (like Jane Adams). Hence, I like her.
And yes, Julie Benz is hot.
Shoot I wasn’t even thinking. Judy Greer in “Lollilove” was much better than Rose in “Scream.”
Obviously, Julie Benz when she was on Dexter. She was great on that show. (Love the Benz:)
Will be announcing the winner on the Cinecast tonight. Winner will be contacted via email.
Thanks for playing everyone!
I need to go watch Rambo again.
