Remember in November when I was gushing over spring and the release of Cary Fukunaga’s follow up to Sin Nombre (review)? Well, it’s almost spring which means Jane Eyre, starring Hottie of the Year Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska, is getting ever closer to release (only a month away!) and the production has been unveiling some delicious images.
I was already pretty excited to see this and then they go and release a couple of clips which, while building excitement for the film, I regret seeing. Not that they’re bad or anything, on the contrary completely – they’re beautiful and moody and oh, so romantic, but darn it all! How is a girl supposed to handle this sort of tease? I’m going to put it out of my mind for a few weeks, burying it with other things… after I watch the first scene another dozen times or so.

The Jane Eyre 2006 DVD is my favorite adaptation. Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens was spectacular in that version. It would be hard topping that but I’m looking forward to watching the 2011 film nonetheless.
