A lot of great movies in 2010. A lot of great camera work. Here are a few still shots that resonate with me to this day. Not a top ten list or a competition, just a bunch of shots that mean something to me from the year of our cinema: 2010.
In no particular order (except for the first one which really floored me)…
I couldn’t find the image I was looking for, so I sort of made a mock-up. You know what I mean here.
Dammit…I suddenly feel trumped.
I rewatched Toy Story 3, and against every attempt to keep composure I felt my eyes watering at the end… I don’t get how it works so well, it really shouldn’t.
Damend it! I did not need a HUMAN CENTIPEDE reminder.
One I couldn’t find a shot for is the image of Stephen Dorf in the plaster cast from Somewhere.

If we ever get a top ten 2010 banner up, that Somewhere pic should be on it.
