Spotted over at MUBI, the quad poster for Claire Denis’ tale of White Woman’s Burden in Cameroon is a solid little flick I caught at TIFF a couple of years ago that has a number of images and ideas still lingering (bonus, Jarmusch regular Isaach De Bankolé has a small role in the film, not to mention a career best performance from one Frenchman, Christopher Lambert). It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth upon original viewing, but if it were playing locally at the moment, I would certainly be up for a revisit.
(By the way, I plan on making this sort of thing a regular feature, pointing out the best new one-sheet I have seen all week around the internets.)

Oooo. I like Lambert quite a bit. Will definitely have to keep my eyes open for this one.
