F irst Sundance than TIFF and only now do we get a trailer for Derek Cianfrance’s Blue Valentine. Better late than never I guess. The trailer is pretty sweet, playing off of the first love encounter of Cindy and Dean, relishing in some great improvisational work, Michelle Williams dancing and Ryan Gosling singing and playing the ukulele. Its been a busy news day for the film, as it was recently reported that the MPAA has slapped the film with an NC-17 rating. The Twitterverse is in a tizzy over this ridiculous decision (personally I have to think it has less to do with the sexual content and more with the political content of one particular scene). Hopefully The Weinsteins can get this decision reversed before Christmas.

The more I see of this film, the more I want to see it all. Michelle Williams looks to be superb.
she is great but overshadowed by Gosling who is phenomenal
