Buried– Besides The Green Zoneish political garbage and awful soundtrack(should have contain minimal to no soundtrack), it was an enjoyable thriller. Lots of people will hate this film, as it is very manipulative; it puts Haneke, Von Trier, and Noe to shame.

PS- Q&A, audience questions suck! Screw the audience– all the questions should stem from a curator.

I’m mostly with you on the Audience Q&A stuff, Antho. I have found many filmmakers answer mildly stupid questions with pretty interesting (and occasionally profound answers though, so often it is not the quality of the question, but the quality of the response.) In my experience, it works best when the moderator/host/programmer sets the tone by asking one or two questions before opening it up to the audience.

But yea, I’ve been there in the audience wincing from some of the commentary and questions from the crowd. I feel your pain, but I do not thing the entire Q&A should be a moderator asking questions.

Amusingly, everything I said above, i just heard again on the Film Junk Podcast…I swear I’m not stealing the above answer from them…

Yep, upon listening to the Film Junk Podcast, I was surprise about the Q&A segment.
