Some have been turned off by Bill Murray’s antics over the past decade – his grumpiness, his blatantness, his strange habit of showing up randomly at college parties, all while in his movies generally distancing himself from the wacky and sarcastic comedy style that made him so famous in the first place, instead embracing his more restrained and dark comedic side. Of course, I’m not one of those people. You know, he may not be the God, but he is a god.
He was on Letterman the other night though and showed once again why he is my favorite comedic mind. Watch Bill Murray as he dumpster dives, talks about hopping on a plane to see Elvis’s “last ride,” does an impeccable Jimmy Stewart impersonation, talks about working with Robert Duvall, and as he is hangs out being just all around cool, hilarious, and highly entertaining.
And David, thank you for not asking the stupid Ghostbusters question like everyone else.

Great interview, but what’s even more impressive is that he did it straight after smashing his head while diving into the dumpster (look again for the bloody wound on the side of his head in part one) – http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/w0004919.html
