Oh Dolph! How we love you so! You were an inhuman corporate-fighter working for a communist country in Rocky IV and a Universal Soldier and an alien killer in I Come In Peace (“Then Go in Pieces!”) It is great to see not only have you aged well, looking like a badass hybrid of Lee Marvin and Micheal Ironside, but that you are appearing to turn out entertaining work even when you go straight to DVD. I am certainly down for a straight-up, totally unpretentious and hyper-violent revenge flick with you both in front and behind the camera! Please do what Ben Affleck did for himself (and us) with Gone Baby Gone!

Looks a bit cheap and cheerful, plus Lundgren’s delivery leaves a lot to be desired, but this would go down well in the right situation (i.e. with several beverages and a group of likeminded individuals). Speaking of which, I’ve got another video weekend on tomorrow, can’t wait. This would be perfect for it! Keep watching for my usual write-up – might be a little late as I’ve got quite a bit of DIY to do at the moment.
