It is nostalgic, testosterone loaded and just a bit whimsically violent. It is gives a pretty clear message for those who watch a lot of action movies in the 1980s and get kind of miffed with the CGI loaded overkill post-Matrix stuff competes with teen-lit trash. If the enthusiastic nerds want trash, at least, Hollywood, have the decency to give us muscles, ‘splosions and avenging super-men. In short, this fan made trailer is truth in bloody advertising for the niche that The Expendables is aiming to fulfill and why of the trio of men-on-a-mission movies, methinks the smart money was always on Sly Stallone beef-cake reunion over the comic-book adaptation The Losers, and glossy TV retread The A-Team.
The trailer is tucked under the seat.

Ha! Love it. The last trailer for The Expendables got me feeling a little uneasy, I thought it looked lighter and goofier than I expected, but this got me stoked again.
Or maybe it’s just me, a beanpole nerd, pretending to feel like a ‘real man’
I think I’m just man enough to take up the challenge.
Action buffs, if you’re out there, it’s time to fan-up!
I think Bruce LaBruce said it best when he tweeted:
“I’d rather have my eyes popped out and placed in a deep fryer while they’re still attached to my optical nerve than watch Eat, Pray, Love.”
