Just re-watched this with my Dad (killing two birds with one stone). Say what you will about the negative effects of its influence (i.e. the blockbuster mess), but damn is it a good movie. Watching it again, I was reminded of the many great, iconic set pieces that Spielberg put into it – for me, it was really reminiscent of a Hitchcock at times in that respect. Plus, it’s chock full of some great character and story development. Its status as a classic is pretty well-deserved. Cheers, Jaws!
The Bloor Cinema is showing Jaws and Jurassic Park on the 30th and I’m going to be in Toronto.
that is tempting. Would like to see Jurassic Park again on the big screen.
I’ll be in touch, even if you can’t make it out that one we should definitely get together for a flick or drink sometime while I’m there.
What’s up with MAMO?

John, are you seeing anything at Cinematheque during your stay? Drop me an email when you are here, will see if I can escape the parental prison.
also Chris, if you are asking where is Mamo, I think the Matts are on vacation in Chicago.
