Today brings us a teasing look at David Fincher’s new project The Social Network. From the prominent tagline, it seems that the film will focus quite a bit on Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and some of the uglier aspects regarding his rise to success. I have high hopes for this one, and have great trust in both Fincher and Jesse Eisenberg, who will be playing Zuckerberg. I quite liked him in The Squid and the Whale and Adventureland, and while I imagine his role in The Social Network will be a smidgen more challenging, I am eager to see what he’ll bring to the film.

The Social Network hits theatres on October 1st, 2010.
