Hams it up to eleven at times, but when he is good he is GOOD

Agreed. I just switched the TV on to the end of the dreadfull Johnny English which isn’t Malkovich’s finest hour, but when he picks a decent role he really sells it. He could do with a little quality control at times though.

Everyone out there get a copy of RIPLEY’S GAME, wherein Malkovich has his crack at Patricia Highsmith’s iconic Thomas Ripley. The film is fantastic, and sadly went stright-to-dvd in North America. Actually it is a fun time to watch all the Ripley film incarnations over the years, wherein the title character is played by: Dennis Hopper, Barry Pepper, Alain Delon, John Malkovich, and Matt Damon
