• Trailer: The Killer Inside Me

Hell. Yes. Casey Affleck hasn’t been on the screen since his incredible year in 2007, where he wowed many people – including me – with his performances in The Assassination of Jesse James… and Gone Baby Gone. I have been waiting eagerly since, because this guy is the real deal – and it seems from this trailer and the early reviews that I have read around the internet, that even if you aren’t going to like this movie (reviewers are torn and many complain about its unnecessary depiction of brutal violence), everyone can agree on one thing: Affleck is awesome. I can’t wait.

Jesus this looks great. Twitch gave it a pretty positive review…

“You are going to need a stiff drink when this one is over.”

forgot to mention that this is a Michael Winterbottom film, that is as big a draw as Casey Affleck in my mind.

Winterbottom is a much bigger draw in fact. “9 Songs” is Winterbottoms only bad film, and he is as prolific and genre/style hops as much as Soderbergh, which is damn impressive.

I’m really itching to see this one, despite how much of a ‘rough ride’ I expect it to be!
