Alright, so I love movies. A lot. So does everyone who contributes to the third row. We even do long enduring marathons of various film genres or creators. I would even venture to say that 99% of the people reading these words right now love movies just as much as we do… if not more. But I don’t love movies this much!
Apparently there’s a Guiness World Record for most consecutive hours watching a movie. If you want to break that record, you have to stay up for 123 hours and watch at least 57 movies; and you can’t look away. Seriously, even a “long blink” constitutes disqualification. A Million in the Morning is the documentary that follows eight contestants as they try to beat said record. The doc takes some unusual turns as it follows one of the contestants, Gavin McInnes, as he slowly goes literally insane from sleep deprivation.
Sounds awesome, but I want to know which 57 movies he watched as well! Check out the trailer below and for more detailed information or how to obtain a DVD screener, head over to the main site for all the 411 and possible screenings to come to your area.
There’s an alternate trailer underneath the seats as well…

That looks pretty intense. Great find Andrew!
57, damn the most I’ve managed without sleeping in between is probably 6, maybe 7. I did the full Star Wars Saga and that was hard! I’ll definitely check this out.
I thought my 48hour of Madness fundraiser was an ill concieved idea. 123 hours is true madness.
