This trailer's emphasis is on the love story, which is appropriate as it drives the plot. Strangely it seems to lack a visual theme. There's no unique "look" to the film as we have seen before - not that it's necessarily a negative - but I certainly wasn't wowed. In fact, I would go as far as to say I was underwhelmed. On the other hand, trailers are notoriously misleading. I think by the time the film opens, I will be happy to see the characters again. Marina, I agree, it looks pretty. Liked <em>Hard Candy</em> a lot. <em>30 Days of Night</em> was kind of lame but it looked handsome enough and it had its moments. I think that's the one thing the <em>Twilight</em> series has to offer in spades and this third installment looks like it continues that trend. It looks really pretty and I like that. The quick glimpse of Bryce Dallas Howard also looks like she's pretty bad ass - though I've not been impressed with anything she's done since <em>The Village</em>, so the jury is still out on her. I'm not rushing to the theater for this one, but for what it is, I'm tired of slagging on the franchise and simply say it's not for me - other than the fetching cinematography. Liked Hard Candy a lot. 30 Days of Night was kind of lame but it looked handsome enough and it had its moments. I think that’s the one thing the Twilight series has to offer in spades and this third installment looks like it continues that trend. It looks really pretty and I like that.
