I believe that is the movie this still is taken from Jonathan. And yes, good movie. I love Woods in his asshole roles too (which he obviously does really well). Whether a smart-mouthed vampire hunter or a snake-like gov’t rep covering up evidence of an alien civilization, awesome. I remember as a kid not liking him – he was unattractive and just had this way about him that I didn’t like (when I say a kid, I mean like 8-12 years old) – but now it’s always a pleasure to see him show up on screen.
Northfork
The Virgin Suicides
Night Moves (1975)
True Believer
Hercules (Voice, yea he is the only good thing about that Disney Cartoon)
Bestseller
Cat’s Eye (the Quit Smoking segment)
James Woods is not only one of the best actors ever, he always makes me laugh.
Ditto on that. He brings it every time though, even in junk like THE HARD WAY, he is fun to watch. Mostly, he is in good stuff.
I loved the Hard Way growing up, and Diggstown, those were my go to Woods films.
Yep, I love the Diggstown, not in the least due to a fine Bruce Dern performance. It was really fun watching those two dance.
How’s about Once Upon a Time in America? Mind blowing.
