Eureka Entertainment have announced the release of House (Hausu) as part of their Masters of Cinema collection (awesome DVD/Blu-Ray’s released in the UK, a bit like Criterion), and it looked interesting, so I checked out the trailer….
My god, it looks mad. I thought I’d share it with you fine people, and if anyone’s seen the film, I’d love to hear some comments about it.

Heh. David, check our archives. THere is lots of love for House here at Row Three:

Good Afternoon!!! rowthree is one of the most outstanding innovative websites of its kind. I enjoy reading it every day. All the best.
Despite having heard Kurt and Bob talk about House, I hadn’t actually checked out any clips or anything from it until now, so thanks for posting the trailer, David. That looks totally INSANE.
Ah, House. As Bob has said in the past, words can’t possibly describe just how awesome, unique and absolutely insane that film is. I’m SO looking forward to the Criterion release.
Wow, looks like it’s old news for you guys. I’d never heard of it till today. I’m going to have to get this one bought when it comes out over here.
The trailer doesn’t do it justice…Make it a group event when you watch.
Like Marc, I can’t wait until the lovely Criterion version comes out. I’ve already got the T-shirt.
I still need to order my own t-shirt.
Here’s an odd coincidence: after checking out this trailer, I wandered over to the Criterion site and read through this story, which features a visit to the George Eastman House film vaults. Lots of interesting stuff, but lookie what they found at the end of it all: http://www.criterion.com/current/posts/1332
Awesome i remember reading a post somewhere about how crazy this film was awhile back, then when i looked it up i saw that it was out of print.
Wait that was here i read that.

Funny Marc, I just plopped that George Eastman House piece into the Bookmarks section right before coming here. Criterion were selling thouse Hausu T’s for $15.
