A big fans of just about everything Christopher Nolan has done, from Following and Memento through The Prestige and the Batman movies, I’m sure we’re all excited about his upcoming non-superhero movie Inception, due in theatres July 16, 2010. A teaser trailer heavy on the tease turned up in August, and now the first poster has been discovered as part of a viral game on the film’s website. Thanks to First Showing for the poster and giving the directions on how to get to it in the game.
What do you think? Does it make you more excited for Inception? Less? I’m not sure I could get more excited – I love how little information has been released so far. I’m hoping to go in fairly blind and hope I get my mind blown. Click the poster to see a GIANT version.
so Nolan is going back to IMAX huh. I am a bit tired of Dicaprio as an actor, but Nolan can do no wrong.
Very groovy poster. I’m also really excited about this one, and not least of all because of the cast. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page (Canucks represent!), Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy in the same flick? Led by Chris Nolan? Heck, I’m there.
Love the poster. It manages to be imposing, cold, and not quite real, which is further reinforced by the neon lights chosen for the font.
I’m not sure about the tagline. The wording just doesn’t roll off the tongue.
Definitely excited, I’ll likely see this one in the theater.
The poster is very much reminiscent of the DARK KNIGHT One Sheet with the tagline “Welcome to a world without rules” and featured a burning skyscraper”

Yeah, Kurt, that’s exactly what I was going to say. It is so obvious, I wonder if Nolan had that done purposely. I doubt it, but you never know. Anyway, I cannot wait to see more from this movie.
