Ok, despite my maybe not so subtle sarcasm in this post’s title and despite that I loathe the fact that this picture is even being made and despite the fact that we’ve seen this style of poster before (Pontypool, Blindness, Ded Sno, Captivity), I actually think the first one of these posters is kinda cool.

Let Me In? Geez, it sounds like a porno.
Actually, “LET ME IN” Was the title of the english translation of the original novel, before the film came out (then in subsequent prints of the novel in Trade paperback and mass market, they switch to reflect the film (which had big critical word of mouth) to Let The Right One In.
I admit that LtROI is a more nuanced title, but Let Me In is a pretty good title too, and I’m glad they going in a somewhat different direction than a shot for shot remake.
Really like the first poster. I’m curious as to what they will do with this but part of me just doesn’t ever want to see it!
I’m surprized we’ve not seen a trailer yet considering it’s only a month from the anticipated release date (Jan 15, 2010).
