Could Adam Scott be a surprise Oscar-nominee and take the indie scene by storm in the following year? It’s possible, by the looks of the trailer for The Vicious Kind, which also stars J.K. Simmons and Brittany Snow. It’s been winning some awards left and right, particularly for the screenplay and Scott’s performance. Check it out. I think it looks interesting and it seems to have a unique humor to it, and it seems almost Apatow meets All the Real Girls in a way.
