I can see how (500) Days of Summer might feel a little ‘too arty on purpose’ but I just see it as awesome People want pretentious they should gander at some 80′s stuff.. that is where that is at.

Still need to see Precious. I wasn’t interested at all, then I saw the trailer and almost starting crying right then & there.

Should be a fun watch, I really hope they broadcast it live in Canada this year or at least have it on Ustream like they did the announcement!

I dont think 500 Days was best pic material either… but I dont get where people thought it was pretentious. I thought it was just harmless fun wrapped up with some indie quirk for style.

I’m thrilled to see some love for James Gray. His film came out so long ago it feels like last year – it’s nice to see not everyone has forgotten how excellent it is.

A nice assortment of titles – including more than a few I haven’t seen! Have to get cracking!
