I know next to nothing about this film that is slated to be released in February of next year. I stumbled across the poster this morning and just thought it looked cool so I did some research.
According to Killer-Film:
The film is based off of a series of novels, written by Rick Riordan, with this first one being based off of the novel with the same name. The film is helmed by “I Love You, Beth Cooper” director Chris Columbus and stars “Gamer” actor Logan Lerman. “The Lightning Thief” is about a young boy [who] discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.
Well whatever. Sounds like Harry Potter-esque nonsense; but again, the poster is cool. Thought I’d share:
