It has been hard for me these past couple of months. I have been watching every where for any word on a DVD release or theatrical release of Johnnie To’s Vengeance starring Johnny Hallyday, Anthony Wong, Suet Lam, and Simon Yam. The hardest part of missing TIFF had to be not getting a chance to see it there with To himself. I have kept watch though and I have finally found a light at the end of the tunnel. I found a French DVD site listing a regular edition, special edition and blu-ray. Unfortunately, they have very little information about the release other than the release date of December 11th. They don’t say if they will be region free and I doubt they will but I’ll find a work around for that. My biggest worry is the language thing. They are listed as being in French only and do not mention subtitles at all.

I guess I at least have an approximate date for now and I will continue to scour the web form more information.
