Our good friend and occasional RowThree Cinecast co-host, Serena Whitney (KillerFilm), has finished shooting a horror comedy that she herself wrote about a guy that wakes up in a bad horror movie. From what I can gather, it looks like the guy is the only one that can see the typical and cliche warning signs and actually realizes he’s in a horror film.

While the final product isn’t quite ready yet, Serena and director Donny Broussard did manage to put together a little teaser for our viewing pleasure. Looks like it could be a fun little midnight madness appropriate picture. I look forward to more. Good luck Serena!

The trailer is tucked under the seat.

  1. The one-sheet is using the same font as SCREAM, I’m assuming that Serena’s film is very much in that territory…

  2. I can’t tell enough from the footage in the trailer (really quick edits!), but I really like the premise. I’ll definitely keep my out for it; I’m assuming Serena will keep us in the loop.

  3. Hey guys,

Thanks so much Andrew for posting about the teaser! Nice surprise! :) The teaser is very short, but the premise is this guy named Chris who wakes up in a swamp with generic characters you only see in a bad straight to DVD horror film. :P It was a lot of fun to write and to be on the set….and we will have a website up for it soon! 
