Nice little movie. I didn’t LOVE it, but I sure liked it a whole lot. Like you said, the characters are completely believable. It gets a little dark towards the end, but like a PT Anderson film, things sort of end up on a decent note. I like a few of these actors a whole lot. I won’t be surprised to see one of their faces popping up in some big movie someday and I’ll go, “Oh shit, it’s the guy from New York Lately!”

By the way, on Jared’s “to fire” list, did you notice the names of the people on the list? Rob Altman, PT Allen, Peter Almodovar. Obviously name dropping of directorial influences.

Yeah I think this looks great. I’ll have to track down a copy. The trailer gives off a Paris Je’Taime meets Blueberry Nights feel directed by, like you said, Woody Allen (in his “good” mode). I definitely look forward to checking this out some Saturday afternoon.
