Friday night. Mizuho Building. Kamiosaki" The girl's response is essentially in line with the subtitle, without the mangled grammar. The man replies: "Our plan has succeeded. They will never catch us. Never! Yuzu didn't know that. We wait until Friday. We are are 100% safe! Will will run away, to the end of the earth!" So as you can see, his response is clearly not "Maybe." Hahahaha! OK, to answer my own question, I’ve asked my Japanese roommate, and here is a rough translation of what the note says:
