Shirley Henderson is Queen in my book. She is awesome in everything she does, even the Bridgit Jones' Diary movies.

She is a Winterbottom regular player, and she is very, very awesome in the Danish movie, Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself, a movie that everyone should try to seek out.

An interesting ensemble of actors and their various styles (which don't seem to have been directed very well by Solondz) is the key ingredient here.

Ally Sheedy is terrible in her attempt at being contemptible yet the younger sister is fantastic in her stage-like, "fairy tale theater" like performance. The little kid drives me crazy while Allison Janney is terrific as always. It's like all of these actors look at the film in a different light and hence, some of them work and some don't.

I did really like the movie, but it doesn't quite have the prowess and impact that Happiness has.

It does drag a bit here and there, but for the most part it flows nicely and the character interactions are compelling if a bit unbelievable.
