Inviting a girl to the poker party, eh? Before we know it, all of the wives will be here!

Anyway, I can't listen to any of this podcast besides the bitch session about 3D, because I haven't watched a damn thing covered in this yet. I need to get out more.

hey Serena, have you seen a movie from last year called Shuttle?

On Antichrist – I want to keep a few thoughts for the review but good god – this film traumatized me. You had a hard time concentrating after watching it? Try sleeping after seeing it. I was up for hours unable to sleep.

Agree – the opening 5 minutes are the best of the film. Looking forward to reading your review Kurt.

I'm 50/50 on Watchmen, there really is a lot of stuff to love in the film, and then a lot of stuff to loathe too. It's a real 'on the fence' movie for me, but one of the more interesting releases of 2009 for sure.

I saw Watchmen a second time with hubby. The great stuff (like the opening scene) are still great but the bad is really apparent on second viewing. Not to mention the film feels so much longer the second time.

On Antichrist. Still percolating. Hopefully Review before TIFF starts.

I have decided to pass on Antichrist, at least at the festival. I just don't need that kind of trauma right now.

Shuttle is surprisingly good Rusty. Easily one of my favorite horror releases of the year.

I can comfortably say that Kurt would hate Taking Woodstock. Its a very sweet film and I enjoyed it, but it is cliche as all get out. He'd nitpick the crap out of it.

Cold Souls is a much better film, but it has plenty of its own flaws. I'm not quite sure how Andrew can mark Cold Souls down for its humor that shows up from time to time while Taking Woodstock has multiple characters that exist purely for humor. Taking Woodstock is far more of a sitcom then Cold Souls.

Also, when a print melts its called a Brain Wrap. Its caused when the platter system fails and the print wraps around the brain and once it wraps enough it causes the platter to stop moving and the print then stops running through the projector which inturn causes the lamp to melt the print. They are a fucking bitch to fix.

Magnet are pretty sharp with their genre acquisitions (Donkey Punch is also quite solid) so far, even if they occasionally mess up the subs on high profile upscale vampire flicks.

I haven't seen SHUTTLE but I really want to.
