    Joe and Zooey Go Bonnie and Clyde

    I am not entirely clear on what this music video, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, is for, although it seems to be a promotional video of sorts for (500) Days of Summer (Marina’s review). The song is “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” and it is performed by She & Him, which also happens to be Ms. Deschanel’s band. The video rocks my socks and makes me really, really want to see the wonderfully enjoyable (500) Days of Summer again. I mean, “Expectation/Reality” – brilliant!

    So adorable. I saw it when I was in Chicago, but my connection was really crappy and it kept skipping. Thanks for the reminder to look at it under better conditions! I love all the para-film stuff that’s come out around (500) Days of Summer.

    Bot or not, when Zooey is doing the flapper dancing on the table, my heart belongs to her. And Joe – yeah, the guy is slick.

    There’s a line in that song that pretty much sums up why I like Zoey. We like the same things and I dig yer style.

    And she’s a pretty face.
