What we’ve been reading – July 11th through July 15th:
The ever-erudite Girish looks at the gap between scholarly film writers and journalistic film critics, pointing out some things they could learn from each other and wishing that they didn't seem always to be two completely different spheres of action. Comments are good, too.
Not really movie related, but a "collaborator" of Michael Jackson, remembers him fondly.
A crap movie that could'v been so much more is hinted at in this final scene. Want something better? Read the book.
