No one was able to figure out that yesterday’s quiz was taken from McDull, prince de la bun. For a bit more information on this one I’d suggest checking out the following review. Today is the last day for Pig movies and unfortunately I lent out my copy of this movie and don’t know where it is anymore so I grabbed a shot off the web. So here is a screen shot for a movie with pigs in but the shot does not have any pigs.

Heh. Brad Pitt no less. I’d say that’s Snatch.
As greedy as a pig!
I’d say Snatch too.. but I can’t seem to remember any pigs in the movie. Granted I haven’t seen it in years.
Oh yeeeaaah!
How the hell could I forget the pigs? :S That way of disposing a corpse has ever since I saw the movie been my plan of action if I every kill someone.
probably the 2nd easiest screenshot ever on R3
I don’t give a shit what anyone says, “Snatch” is good.
You heard it here first folks. Snatch is good.
No argument here. I can watch that and Lock Stock… at any time. The only person I know who really doesnt like Guy Ritchies earlier films is Jay.
I dig both Lock Stock + Snatch. They are fun stylish exercises with great soundtracks and I do like the gangster monologues in both pictures, particularly the pigs monologue shown above. Anyone see RocknRolla?
Kurt,
I did. What a dissapointment. After his departure from the gangster thing, with Swept Away (which I avoided for obvious reasons) and Revolver (which, shoot me – haha, get it? – I really dug) I was REALLY looking forward to his return to presumed stylish, well soundtrack-ed fun and sadly it was not to be.
It was as if he knew everyone was expecting another Snatch from him, and so he did everything in the checklist to make that happen. Except it was painfully obvious he was just trying to be his past “gangster” self – trying to do the best filmmaking impression of himself.
Beyond that it just wasn’t that much of an enjoyable film. It’s not terrible but sorely lacking in my eyes.
