• Mamo #138: Snikkity Snikt Berserker

    Mamo!

The monster month of May has landed with a 3-clawed slice, but even as Wolverine’s strong Friday falls to a middling Saturday and a weak Sunday, what can we augur about the tentpole-loaded weekends to come? And: does mutant healing factor extend to careers?

Hmmm.. not working for me, maybe something at my browser. Getting this message:

    I keep trying. Thx.

You sound like the chipmunks when listened to on the site, so there does seem to be something wrong somewhere

Sounds fine to me. But our iTunes feed is definitely acting up. It does this from time to time for some unknown reason and then magically fixes itself after a while. I’ll take a look and see what I can do.

… and if I’m not back by dawn, *wink*, call the president.

Sorry, probably my fault. I’m working on a plugin that includes images in the feed, and I think it’s not playing nicely with the podcast plugin. I’ll deactivate mine until I get it figured out.

  6. Andreas says:

    works fine now, thx.

It still sounds like the chipmunks on both the streaming audio player on the post and at the top in the queue… tried it with both IE and Chrome.

yup, I cleaned my cache and loaded it again and it is still not working for me. If it is just me thats fine, because I listened to it elsewhere, but if anyone else has this same problem leave a comment.

It works for me also. I love the opening few seconds, by the way. Good stuff.

The opening montage-scene of Wolverine was so cool and for a moment I thought, “Whoa, this might actually turn out to be good.” Then it all went downhill. The ending… wow. Almost as much of an epic fail as X-Men: The Last Stand’s ending.

But your assessment that Hugh Jackman had a bad year, I disagree completely. Australia didn’t do great, sure, although DVD sales have picked up for it. Most people across the web also praised his Oscar appearance as did most people that I know. Wolverine will be loved by the general public as much as they loved the third X-Men movie. He’s quickly rising to be one of the biggest starts in Hollywood.
