Although I don’t love this poster as much as I loved the previously released one-sheet, I still think that every bit of marketing that has emerged for Spike Jonze’ Where the Wild Things Are has been nothing short of awe inspiring. Everyone I know is going ga-ga over this film. Behold, another fantastic piece of commercialism:
October 16th, I wonder if Spike will be coming to TIFF.
I have to admit, the poster isn’t quite as cool as the trailer, but it does make me want to see the movie even more.
Loved the chomped tree to the right!
I don’t get how people like the other poster better. The bite taken out of the tree puts this one over the top.
It’s the expression on Max Record’s face in the first poster that does it for me.
I’d like this poster if Carol/Moishie clearly wasn’t such a CGI insertion and not some guy in a suit. Hopefully the poster looks better in your hands then as an online image.
