I adored this movie. I daresay it almost cracked my top 10 last year. I have no idea why people are down on it. It's sharp, old-school hollywood style filmmaking with a bit of a modern spin. Great chemistry, great supporting characters, and a its rare to have a bigger budget 'con man' flick, so yea. I'm all in on this one. I imagine it will find its audience eventually, as people revisit it. I imagine it would indeed get better on multiple views, if only to savor the dialogue delivery and not be so hung up on plot. (See also: Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, etc. etc.)

Second viewing holds up for what it is - maybe even liked it a little bit more.

Caught up with this last week and completely fall on the side of thoroughly enjoying the hi jinx. It was a lot of fun to see the level of espionage/counter intelligence going on over something so small but on the grand scheme of things, it also makes a lot of sense considering the sheer amount of money involved when you're talking about these big corporations.

It's fun, fluffy and entertaining with the added bonus of not feeling "dumbed down" and being beautifully shot. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
